Tips from a fellow insomniac: even if you can’t sleep, lay on your back with your hands on your stomach. Feel the rise and fall of deep breaths. Close your eyes and try to relax into your bed. Don’t try to sleep, just try to relax.

Claire music is the greatest music.
This is true
I feel like I should be able to explain why, but it’s not coming out in words- really more just flailing and pointing
Because it is both universal and unique. Musically, it taps into common themes enjoyed and appreciated by many while still retaining that which is exclusive to Claire. Lyrically, it speaks to the fundamental elements of the human condition, things to which we all can relate and understand on an emotional level.
Personally, I think Claire music is the greatest because her voice, in combination with the music, soothes the rough edges of my soul. The fingers of her voice wrap themselves around my heart to heal and protect the raw, aching places. Her voice is a simple yet luxurious comfort, like the comfort provided by a thick blanket, a mug of tea, and a familiar, worn out book on a cold, rainy day.
Sometimes I get really stressed and anxious and then I listen to something like ‘Snow’ by Claire and I relax and imagine my bear is here to protect me
